The ESP4236 is an Eclipse Swing Panel (ESP Series) made to fit a 42 x 36 (A x B) enclosure. It is a hinged, white-finished steel panel for panel builders, electricians and OEM engineers, and its hinged design allows access to equipment mounted inside the enclosure behind it.
Construction is 12 gauge steel. Closure is provided by slotted quarter turn latches, and adding the optional locking quarter turn latches (part number EQTRL) converts the panel into a dead front panel. Shipping weight is 54 lbs (24.49 kg). Because the panel can be hinged from either side, it can be set up to open whichever way suits the equipment layout and the enclosure door on a 42 x 36 installation.
On the ESP4236 drawing, the panel measures 34.42 in and 33.79 in across in the top view and 39.94 in (side view) and 39.75 in (front view) for the 42 x 36 enclosure. The panel comes complete with 4 depth adjustment brackets, for setting the panel's depth inside the enclosure.
The hardware kit maintains UL, CSA and NEMA ratings when the panel is field installed. Note that the ESP Series is not compatible with the DSTOPK door stop kit. The ESP4236 is listed as RoHS and REACH compliant. It ships in a box.
