The ESF3624 is a swing-out rack frame for 36 x 24 Eclipse enclosures, offering 17U of rack space, the most in the ESF Series. It brings standard 19-inch rack mounting into an Eclipse enclosure on a hinged frame, so IT, network and control equipment can swing out for rear access during installation, wiring and maintenance.
The frame is steel construction supporting up to 62 lb, with a black powder coat finish that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. It provides 19 in rack mounting with EIA spacing and round hole rails for use with clip nuts (CLPKIT1032-25 sold separately). The mounting width is 19.00 in (483 mm) with a usable depth of 5.90 in (150 mm), and the part drawing shows dimensions of 21.790 in, 33.750 in and 0.625 in.
The frame opens to 90 degrees and can be hinged from either side. Depth adjustment brackets are included to position equipment within the enclosure, and slotted quarter-turn latches secure the frame, with the optional EQTRL locking latch available for added security. It maintains UL, CSA and NEMA ratings when properly installed with the hardware kit. Note that the ESF3624 is not compatible with the DSTOPK door stop kit.
