Built for 12 x 24 Eclipse Series enclosures, the EPG1224 inner panel provides a 12 gauge steel back panel on which integrators and panel shops can mount and wire their equipment.
This is the galvanized version of the panel: it is supplied in an unpainted galvanized finish and is the counterpart to the white-finished mild steel EP1224. Like every EP Series panel it is formed from 12 gauge steel and is larger than the standard NEMA panel used in the same sized enclosure, so more of the enclosure interior is available for components.
Hammond's ordering table lists size D as 10.20 in (259 mm) and size E as 22.20 in (564 mm). The part drawing shows overall panel dimensions of 22.17 in wide by 10.17 in high, a material thickness of 0.10 in, and 0.44 in diameter mounting slots at a spacing of 21.19 in across and 9.19 in vertically.
