Hammond EP7236 72x36 Eclipse Inner Panel, White 12 Gauge Steel

Built for 72 x 36 Eclipse Series enclosures, the EP7236 inner panel provides a 12 gauge steel back panel on which integrators and panel shops can mount and wire their equipment.

The EP7236 is the mild steel version, finished in recoatable powder white; if an unpainted galvanized panel is preferred, the matching part is EPG7236. The panel is 12 gauge steel and, as with the rest of the EP Series, is larger than the standard NEMA panel used in the same sized enclosure, which frees up extra mounting area.

Hammond's ordering table lists size D as 70.20 in (1783 mm) and size E as 34.20 in (869 mm). The part drawing shows overall panel dimensions of 34.17 in wide by 70.17 in high, a material thickness of 0.10 in, and 0.44 in diameter mounting slots at a spacing of 16.59 in + 16.59 in across and 34.59 in + 34.59 in vertically. As one of the larger sizes, this panel has formed flanges for added strength; the drawing shows a 0.75 in flange dimension.

The slotted corner design is intended to make the panel easier to mount. It ships in a box with a shipping weight of 90 lbs (40.82 kg), and is listed as RoHS compliant and REACH compliant. The powder white finish is described by Hammond as recoatable.
