Hammond EN4SD42368LG 42x36x8 In Type 4 Steel Wallmount Enclosure, Light Gray

The Hammond Eclipse Series EN4SD42368LG is a 42 x 36 in single-door wallmount enclosure with an 8 in depth, rated NEMA Type 3R, 4 and 12 and finished in RAL 7035 Light Gray. It is designed to enclose electrical and/or electronic equipment and protect it against harsh, industrial environments in wallmount applications. Its 36 in width qualifies it for the series door alignment guide, and the Type B handle with 3 point latching secures the 42 in tall door.

The body is formed from 14 gauge steel with smooth, continuously welded seams ground smooth, and a formed lip on the enclosure excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. A seamless poured-in-place gasket seals the door, which hangs on hidden 304 stainless steel hinges with stainless steel hinge pins. This size uses latch Type B (handle with 3 point latching). Cover and enclosure are phosphatized and powder finished inside and out in RAL7035 textured light gray (LG).

Enclosure dimensions are 42.00 in (1067 mm) high x 36.00 in (914 mm) wide x 8.00 in (203 mm) deep; the drawing shows a door opening of 34.31 x 40.31 in (W x H) and an overall depth of 8.84 in including the door. It ships less panel: the matching optional inner panel is EP4236 (40.20 in (1021 mm) x 34.20 in (869 mm)), mounted on the collar studs provided. Shipping weight is 110 lbs (49.90 kg).

The included hardware kit supplies panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for the wall mounting holes, and a bonding stud on the door plus a grounding stud in the enclosure support grounding. Compliance at a glance:
