The Hammond Eclipse Series EN4SD36248GY is a 36 in tall, 24 in wide single-door wallmount enclosure with an 8 in depth, rated NEMA Type 3R, 4 and 12 and finished in ANSI 61 Gray. It is designed to enclose electrical and/or electronic equipment and protect it against harsh, industrial environments in wallmount applications. The portrait 36 x 24 in format gives a tall, narrow backplane area, and at exactly 24 in wide it stays within the width at which the series requires an inner panel for UL/CSA.
The body is formed from 14 gauge steel with smooth, continuously welded seams ground smooth, and a formed lip on the enclosure excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. A seamless poured-in-place gasket seals the door, which hangs on hidden 304 stainless steel hinges with stainless steel hinge pins. This size uses latch Type A (slotted quarter turns). Cover and enclosure are phosphatized and powder finished inside and out in ANSI 61 smooth gray (GY).
Enclosure dimensions are 36.00 in (914 mm) high x 24.00 in (610 mm) wide x 8.00 in (203 mm) deep; the drawing shows a door opening of 22.49 x 34.49 in (W x H) and an overall depth of 8.84 in including the door.
