Hammond EN4SD36246LG 36x24x6 In Type 4 Steel Wallmount Enclosure, Light Gray

The Hammond Eclipse Series EN4SD36246LG is a 36 in tall, 24 in wide single-door wallmount enclosure in the shallow 6 in depth, rated NEMA Type 3R, 4 and 12 and finished in RAL 7035 Light Gray. It is designed to enclose electrical and/or electronic equipment and protect it against harsh, industrial environments in wallmount applications. The 6 in depth keeps the enclosure slim on the wall for shallow devices such as terminal blocks and DIN-rail components, while the 36 in height leaves room for a tall vertical layout.

The body is formed from 14 gauge steel with smooth, continuously welded seams ground smooth, and a formed lip on the enclosure excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. A seamless poured-in-place gasket seals the door, which hangs on hidden 304 stainless steel hinges with stainless steel hinge pins. This size uses latch Type A (slotted quarter turns). Cover and enclosure are phosphatized and powder finished inside and out in RAL7035 textured light gray (LG).

Enclosure dimensions are 36.00 in (914 mm) high x 24.00 in (610 mm) wide x 6.00 in (152 mm) deep; the drawing shows a door opening of 22.49 x 34.49 in (W x H) and an overall depth of 6.84 in including the door. It ships less panel: the matching optional inner panel is EP3624 (34.20 in (869 mm) x 22.20 in (564 mm)), mounted on the collar studs provided. Shipping weight is 48 lbs (21.77 kg).

The included hardware kit supplies panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for the wall mounting holes, and a bonding stud on the door plus a grounding stud in the enclosure support grounding. Compliance at a glance:
