Hammond EN4SD302412WLG 30x24x12 in Type 4 Window Door Enclosure, Light Gray

The EN4SD302412WLG is a Type 4 mild steel wallmount enclosure from the Eclipse Series with a full-view window door, measuring 30 x 24 x 12 in (762 mm x 610 mm x 305 mm) H x W x D. It is designed to enclose electrical and electronic equipment in wallmount applications where operators need to see components working while the enclosure keeps its protection ratings. This version is finished in RAL7035 textured light gray; the same size in ANSI 61 gray is EN4SD302412WGY.

The body is formed from 14 gauge steel with smooth, continuously welded seams ground smooth, and a formed lip that excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. The hinged door carries a UV resistant polycarbonate window for maximum viewing of the inner panel, closes on a seamless poured-in place gasket, and is secured by quarter turn latches that need a tool to open. Latches are zinc diecast with a black epoxy finish; the hidden hinges are 304 stainless steel with stainless hinge pins. Cover and enclosure are phosphatized and powder coated inside and out with a recoatable finish.

According to the drawing, the door measures 29.97 x 23.97 in and the door opening is 28.49 x 22.49 in, with an overall depth of 12.84 in for this shallower 12 in body. Wall mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on a 28.50 x 22.50 in pattern, and the included hardware kit supplies panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for those holes. Collar studs accept the optional EP3024 inner panel (28.20 in (716 mm) x 22.20 in (564 mm)). A bonding stud is fitted on the door and a grounding stud in the enclosure.

The EN4SD302412WLG is listed to UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4 and 12 (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001) and complies with NEMA 3R, 4 and 12 and IEC 60529 IP66. It is REACH and RoHS compliant, ships in a box at 57 lbs (25.85 kg), and carries UPC 623980067216.
