Hammond EN4SD30206LG 30x20x6 in Type 4 Steel Wall Enclosure, Light Gray

The EN4SD30206LG is an Eclipse Series Type 4 mild steel wallmount enclosure measuring 30 in x 20 in x 6 in (762 mm x 508 mm x 152 mm), finished in RAL 7035 textured light gray. It is designed to enclose electrical and electronic equipment and protect it against harsh, industrial environments in wallmount applications. At 30 x 20 x 6 in it provides a 28.20 x 18.20 in optional panel area in a 6 in deep, low-profile body.

The body is formed mild steel with smooth, continuously welded seams ground smooth, a formed lip to exclude flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in-place gasket. The single hinged door uses Type A latching with slotted quarter turns, hidden 304 stainless steel hinges and stainless steel hinge pins. Cover and enclosure are phosphatized and powder coated inside and out with a recoatable RAL 7035 textured light gray finish.

Drawing dimensions for this size (W x H) include a 19.97 x 29.97 in door, a 18.49 x 28.49 in door opening and a 18.00 x 28.00 in clear space available on the door. Wall mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on 18.50 x 28.50 in centres (W x H), and a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for the wall mounting holes is included. Collar studs are provided for the optional EP3020 inner panel (28.20 in (716 mm) x 18.20 in (462 mm)). Shipping weight is 38 lbs (17.24 kg).

The series is rated UL 508A Type 3R, 4 and 12 and CSA Type 3R, 4 and 12, and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4 and 12 and IEC 60529 IP66 (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001). A mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. A bonding stud is provided on the door and a grounding stud is installed in the enclosure. The EN4SD30206LG is REACH and RoHS compliant; the same size in ANSI 61 gray is EN4SD30206GY.
