Hammond EN4SD20166S16 20x16x6 In 316 Stainless Type 4X Wallmount Enclosure

Designed to protect electrical and electronic equipment in harsh, industrial settings, the EN4SD20166S16 is a 20 x 16 x 6 in (508 mm x 406 mm x 152 mm) wallmount enclosure from the Eclipse Series, made in 316 stainless steel. It is the 316 stainless steel version of this size; the 304 stainless equivalent is EN4SD20166SS. Hidden hinges and a clean latching system give it a finish suited to high-tech equipment installations.

Construction is formed from 16 gauge stainless steel, continuously welded with seams ground smooth. The door seals on a seamless poured-in-place gasket and closes with Latch Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns; hinge pins are also stainless. A formed lip keeps flowing liquids and contaminants out, and the natural stainless finish is smooth and brushed.

Per the part drawing, the door opening is 14.52 in wide by 18.52 in high, with 14.00 x 18.00 in of clear space available on the door. Inside depth is 6.71 in, and wall mounting holes (Ø0.50 in) are spaced 14.50 in by 18.50 in. Shipping weight is 22 lbs (9.98 kg). Collar studs are provided for an inner panel; the matching optional panel is EP2016, 18.20 in (462 mm) high by 14.20 in (361 mm) wide.

The EN4SD20166S16 is listed to UL 508A Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 (UL File E65324) and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 (CSA Cert. LR21001), and complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66. A mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. It is RoHS and REACH compliant, and the included hardware kit supplies panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for the wall mounting holes.
