Hammond EN4SD201610S16 20x16x10 in 316 Stainless Type 4X Wall Enclosure

The EN4SD201610S16 is a 20 in high x 16 in wide x 10 in deep (508 x 406 x 254 mm) Eclipse Series wallmount enclosure in 316 stainless steel. It is intended to enclose electrical and electronic equipment and protect it from harsh, industrial environments, in a portrait layout with 10 in of nominal depth.

The enclosure is formed from 16 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and has a natural brushed stainless finish. A formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in place gasket seals the door. Latching is Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns with stainless steel hinge pins; the door is removable and interchangeable, and its swing can be reversed with adapter kit EHLLSAK.

According to the drawing, the door opening is 14.52 in x 18.52 in (W x H), the door is 15.97 in x 19.97 in, clear space available on the door is 14.00 in x 18.00 in, and inside depth is 10.71 in. Ø 0.50 in wall mounting holes are provided, along with a hardware kit of panel mounting nuts and sealing washers.

No inner panel is supplied; the optional EP2016 panel is 18.20 in (462 mm) x 14.20 in (361 mm) and mounts on collar studs. Grounding is supported by a bonding stud on the door and a grounding stud in the enclosure. Ratings: UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12; NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13; IEC 60529 IP 66. A mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. Shipping weight is 30 lbs (13.61 kg). The 304 version is EN4SD201610SS.
