Hammond EN4SD162010S16 16x20x10 in 316 Stainless Type 4X Wide Enclosure

The EN4SD162010S16 is a landscape-format Eclipse Series wallmount enclosure, 16 in high x 20 in wide x 10 in deep (406 x 508 x 254 mm), made from 316 stainless steel. It encloses electrical and electronic equipment and protects it against harsh, industrial environments, with a wider-than-tall layout suited to horizontally arranged components.

The body is formed 16 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth, a formed lip to exclude flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in place gasket. The door closes with Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns and uses stainless steel hinge pins. It can be removed for modifications and is interchangeable, and swing can be reversed by ordering adapter kit EHLLSAK. The finish is natural stainless steel with a smooth brushed finish.

The drawing shows a door opening of 18.52 in x 14.52 in (W x H), a door of 19.97 in x 15.97 in, 18.00 in x 14.00 in of clear space available on the door, and an inside depth of 10.71 in. Wall mounting is via Ø 0.50 in holes, sealed with the included panel mounting nuts and sealing washers.

No panel is included. The optional EP1620 inner panel is 14.20 in (361 mm) high x 18.20 in (462 mm) wide and fits the collar studs. Ratings: UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12; NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13; IEC 60529 IP 66. A mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements.
