Hammond EN4SD161610SS 16x16x10 in 304 Stainless NEMA 4X Wall Enclosure

The EN4SD161610SS is a 304 stainless steel Eclipse Series wallmount enclosure with a square 16 in x 16 in face and 10 in depth (406 x 406 x 254 mm). It is aimed at electricians, integrators and OEMs who need to enclose electrical and electronic equipment and shield it from harsh, industrial environments.

The enclosure is made from formed 16 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth, and both cover and body have a natural, smooth brushed stainless finish. A formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, while a seamless poured-in place gasket seals the door. The single door latches with Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns, hangs on stainless steel hinge pins, and can be removed for modifications or reversed using adapter kit EHLLSAK.

Drawing values: door opening 14.52 in wide x 14.38 in high, door 15.97 in x 15.97 in, clear space on the door 14.00 in x 14.00 in, and inside depth 10.71 in. It mounts through Ø 0.50 in wall holes with the supplied hardware kit of panel mounting nuts and sealing washers.

The unit is sold without a panel; collar studs accept the optional EP1616 inner panel, 14.20 in x 14.20 in. Ratings are UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001), with compliance to NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66.
