Hammond EN4SD161610S16 16x16x10 in 316 Stainless Type 4X Square Enclosure

The EN4SD161610S16 is a square 16 in x 16 in x 10 in deep (406 x 406 x 254 mm) Eclipse Series wallmount enclosure in 316 stainless steel. It is designed to enclose electrical and electronic equipment and protect it against harsh, industrial environments, in a compact footprint with 10 in of nominal depth.

Construction is formed 16 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth. The formed lip on the enclosure excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in place gasket seals the door. Type A latching uses stainless steel slotted quarter turns, and the stainless steel hinge pins sit in hidden hinges. Doors can be removed and are interchangeable; adapter kit EHLLSAK reverses the swing. The finish is smooth brushed natural stainless.

The drawing gives a door opening of 14.52 in wide x 14.38 in high, a 15.97 in x 15.97 in door, 14.00 in x 14.00 in of clear space on the door, and a 10.71 in inside depth. Wall mounting is through Ø 0.50 in holes, and the included hardware kit supplies panel mounting nuts and sealing washers.

No panel is included; the optional EP1616 inner panel (14.20 in x 14.20 in) mounts on collar studs. A bonding stud on the door and a grounding stud in the enclosure are provided. Standards: UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 and compliance with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66; a mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. Shipping weight is 20 lbs (9.07 kg). EN4SD161610SS is the 304 version.
