A formed lip on the door and enclosure excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in-place gasket seals the door. Cutouts and holes are provided to suit the flange handle operating mechanism, and the door is secured with an easily operated 2 or 3 point, padlockable handle. A cover interlock bracket is included on the door, and doors can be easily removed for modifications and are interchangeable.
Collar studs are provided for mounting an inner panel, which is sold separately: the series table matches this enclosure with the EP3024 optional panel at 28.17 x 22.17 in (716 x 563 mm). The part drawing shows a 22.44 in wide by 28.38 in high door opening and 0.50 in diameter wall mounting holes spaced 24.50 in by 28.50 in. A hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for the wall mounting holes is included, and a bonding stud on the door and grounding stud in the enclosure simplify earthing.
