Hammond EHLLSS Locking Stainless Steel L Handle, NEMA 4X

The Hammond EHLLSS is a locking L handle made of stainless steel, part of the Eclipse Handles EHL Series. With a NEMA 12, 4, 4X rating, it suits enclosures where corrosion resistance matters, and gives engineers and facilities teams a way to restrict access to the enclosure interior.

The EHLLSS is field installable and interchangeable with standard quarter turn latches, so it can be retrofitted to an existing enclosure door. The EHL Series maintains NEMA, UL and CSA ratings as noted, and this handle is listed under UL File # E65324 and CSA Cert. # LR21001.

The part drawing shows dimensions of 3.98 in and 3.35 in in the side and front views, a 2.20 in top view dimension, a 1.50 in side view dimension and a 0.93 in dimension.

Like the other EHL handles, the EHLLSS replaces a quarter turn latch directly, so an existing enclosure can be upgraded to lockable access in the field. Shipping weight is 2 lbs (0.91 kg). The handle ships in a bag and is REACH and RoHS compliant. The series also includes a zinc die cast locking version, the EHLL, rated NEMA 12, 4, so choose the stainless version when the enclosure must keep a NEMA 4X rating.
