Hammond DTT6301B115LG 5520 BTU/h 115V Top-Mount Enclosure Air Conditioner

The DTT6301B115LG is a 115 V top-mount enclosure air conditioner from the DTT 4000-7000 BTU/H indoor series. It is designed for integrators, OEM machine builders and facilities electricians who need substantial cooling on a control cabinet roof where side mounting is not possible, and who have only single-phase 115 V, 60 Hz power available.

Rated cooling is 5520 BTU/h (1620 Watts) at +95/+95F (+35/+35C); the part description lists it as a 5300BTU unit. It consumes 1027 W, with 15 A running current and 32 A starting current, and connects through a terminal block with plug. A hot gas bypass valve prevents evaporator freeze up while limiting inrush, and a door contact provision allows power down when the enclosure is opened.

Closed loop cooling recirculates clean enclosure air without mixing it with the ambient, and the patented condensate management system prevents condensate from penetrating the enclosure. The unit includes a built-in condensate evaporator, R134a refrigerant, high capacity fans for continuous circulation, self-diagnostics on startup and LED fault indication. Its thermostat is reached from inside the enclosure and adjusts from +77 to +113F (+25 to +45C), factory set at +95F / +35C. Ambient operating range is +59 to +131 F (+15 to +55 C).

Gasket, mounting kit, cutout template, condensate drain hose and clamp are included, and the unit mounts with tool-less sash fasteners. Finish is galvanized sheet steel in RAL 7035 powder coat; it maintains NEMA 12, is IP 54 and holds UR, cUR and CE approvals.
