Hammond DTS3245A460LG 12,000 BTU 460V NEMA 12 Side-Mount Cooling Unit

The DTS3245A460LG provides 12,000 BTU (3,500 W) of closed-loop cooling for large indoor NEMA 12 enclosures on 460 V 50/60 Hz power, with a running current of 3.14 A and a starting current of 8 A, the lowest starting current of the high-capacity models in this series. It suits industrial plants that distribute 460 V to their control cabinets.

Designed for side mounting on any enclosure surface, the unit uses closed loop cooling so clean enclosure air is recirculated without ever mixing with contaminated ambient air, and it keeps maximum clearance between the warm inlet and cold outlet to reduce hot spots. The condenser has 3 mm fin spacing for protection against strongly contaminated and aggressive ambient air. The exterior case is galvanized sheet steel in RAL7035 light gray; ANSI 61 gray is available by replacing LG with GY.

DTS3245A460LG is rated 460 V 50/60 Hz with a range of operation of 360-506 V, power consumption of 1700 W, running current of 3.14 A and starting current of 8 A, connected by terminal block. It holds a 1200 g R134a charge and provides 706 CFM of circulation on each listed air circuit (unrestricted). A hot gas bypass valve prevents evaporator freeze up, and the thermostat is accessible from inside the enclosure with a factory setting of +95°F (+35°C). Ambient operating range is +59°F (+15°C) to +131°F (+55°C) at a noise level below 70 dB(A).

The series maintains the enclosure's NEMA 12 rating (IP 54) and carries UL, cUL and CE approvals; this part is listed as RoHS and REACH compliant.
