The Hammond DSG1 is a Door Support Guide kit for enclosure doors. It is designed for use when heavy loads or uneven mounting surfaces change door alignment, helping maintenance teams, panel builders and facilities staff keep a door aligned with its enclosure.
The DSG1 can be used on Hammond Eclipse and 1418 Series wall mount enclosures, and on all freestanding and floor mount enclosures, in both painted and stainless steel versions. Because it is a field installable kit, it can be added to an enclosure that is already installed, which makes it a practical fix when a door that has been loaded with equipment or mounted on an uneven wall or floor no longer lines up with its enclosure body.
The kit includes all necessary hardware and installation instructions. Sealing washers are included to maintain enclosure integrity after installation.
