Hammond DNRMV2324BK1 3U 23" Wide Vented Rack Shelf, 24" Deep

The DNRMV2324BK1 is a 3U vented rack mounting shelf sized for 23 inch two-post racks, with a 24.00 in (610 mm) mounting depth. It is intended for IT, AV and telecom installers, electricians and facilities teams who need a sturdy platform for batteries, amplifiers, power supplies or other non-rack-mountable equipment in an open frame relay rack.

The shelf is constructed of heavy-duty 16 gauge mild steel and finished in textured RAL9005 black powder coat, which complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. The front and rear lips are folded for extra strength and double as equipment retainers. The vented pan uses 0.19 x 1.00 in venting slots so heat can continue to move upward rather than being trapped under the load.

Mounting dimensions are 5.25 in (133 mm) high by 23.00 in (584 mm) wide by 24.00 in (610 mm) deep, occupying 3U of rack space. The drawing shows an overall pan depth of 21.62 in (549 mm) with 8X 0.25 x 0.38 in mounting slots and bracket slots for depth adjustment. Each DNRMV2324BK1 ships as a vented shelf with four mounting brackets, eight 10-32 x 1/2 screws and eight 10-32 KEP nuts; mounting hardware is included for both 10-32 and 12-24 rails.

The series is designed for use with Hammond heavy-duty DNRR and DRZ4 double-tapped two-post racks or any 2 post rack. The series is load rated to 300 lbs (136 kg), while the part drawing states a maximum weight load capacity of 275 lb. The shelf is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, and manufactured in North America.
