Hammond DNFF120BK230 120 mm Filtered Fan Kit, 230 VAC, 105 CFM

The DNFF120BK230 is a hard-wired filtered cooling fan kit built around a 4.70 in (119 mm) 120 mm AC fan rated 230 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 0.09 Amps, with a free-flow air delivery of 105 CFM. It is intended for OEM engineers, panel builders, industrial automation teams and IT/AV integrators who need to move clean air through an enclosure, electrical cabinet or rack without adding a plug-in cord set to the assembly.

The kit pairs a high-quality AC fan with an IP5X-rated replaceable filter so airflow is drawn through filter media rather than straight into the enclosure, helping reduce dust and airborne contaminants around sensitive electronics. The front screen and back panel are ABS plastic, and the DNFF Series filter grille is flame-retardant ABS; this part number supplies the Black grille, with ANSI 61 Gray (DNFF120GY230) and Light Gray (DNFF120LG230) offered as siblings.

Assembled dimensions are 150.00 mm [5.906 in] square with a 61.30 mm [2.413 in] depth, and the required panel cutout is 120.00 mm [4.724 in] square with 6.00 mm [0.236 in] diameter mounting holes and a 15.00 mm corner radius. Every DNFF120BK230 kit includes the fan, plastic filter grille, replaceable filter, metal safety guard, a 24 inch cord for wiring, plus eight 10-32 x 1/2 in panhead self-tapping screws and four speed nuts. Measured noise is 56 dB.

The hard-wired design can be used with or without an external thermostat, making it suitable for permanently installed equipment. DNFF Series fan components are UL Recognized to UL 507 and cUL Recognized or CSA Certified to CSA-C22.2 No. 113, and the product is RoHS and REACH compliant. Replacement media is available as PFF2000 standard filter media or PLFF2000 pleated filter media, both in packs of five.
