Hammond DNFF080GY230 80 mm 230 VAC Filtered Fan Kit, 32 CFM

The DNFF080GY230 is a hard-wired filtered cooling fan kit built around an 80 mm (3.15 in) AC fan rated 230 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 0.05 amps, with a free-flow air delivery of 32 CFM and a noise rating of 34 dB. It is intended for OEM engineers, panel builders, integrators and facilities teams who need to move clean air through an industrial enclosure, electrical cabinet or networking rack without adding a plug-in cord set.

The kit combines the fan with a flame-retardant ABS filter grille in ANSI 61 Gray (listed as Gray on the part drawing) so it visually matches Hammond cabinets and enclosures. Both the front screen and back panel are ABS plastic. An IP5X-rated replaceable filter element helps reduce dust and airborne contaminants reaching sensitive electronics, and PFF1000 standard filter media or PLFF1000 pleated filter media (packs of 5) are available separately for routine maintenance.

Each DNFF080GY230 kit is supplied complete with the fan, plastic filter grille, replaceable filter, metal safety guard, 11 inch wire leads and mounting hardware consisting of 8 panhead self-tapping 10-32 x 1/2 in screws and 4 speed nuts. The assembly measures 105.00 mm (4.134 in) square at the grille and mounts to a 75.00 mm (2.953 in) square plate cutout with 15.00 mm corner radii and four 6.00 mm mounting holes on 70.00 mm (2.756 in) centres.

Because the DNFF080GY230 uses wire leads rather than a plug, it can be wired to run continuously or switched through an external thermostat. Fan components are UL Recognized to UL 507 and cUL Recognized or CSA Certified to CSA-C22.2 No. 113, and the product is RoHS and REACH compliant. Complementary XPFA exhaust filter grilles can be used opposite the fan for balanced enclosure ventilation.
