Hammond DNFF080BK230 80 mm 230 VAC Filter Fan Kit, 32 CFM Black

The DNFF080BK230 is a hard-wired filtered cooling fan kit built around an 80 mm (3.15 in) AC fan rated 230 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 0.05 Amps with a free-flow air delivery of 32 CFM. It is intended for control panel builders, OEM engineers, integrators and facilities teams who need to move clean air through an industrial enclosure, electrical cabinet or rack without adding a plug-in cord set. With 11 inch wire leads, it can be wired directly to panel power and used with or without an external thermostat.

The kit pairs the fan with a flame-retardant ABS filter grille in black, so the assembly blends with black Hammond cabinets and enclosures. Both the front screen and back panel are ABS plastic. An IP5X-rated replaceable filter media captures dust and airborne contaminants before they reach sensitive electronics, and replacement media is available separately as PFF1000 standard filter media or PLFF1000 pleated filter media, each in packages of five.

The assembled DNFF080BK230 measures 105.00 mm [4.134 in] square on the front with an overall depth of 61.40 mm [2.417 in]. Installation uses a 75.00 mm [2.953 in] square plate cutout with 15.00 mm corner radii and four 6.00 mm [0.236 in] mounting holes on 70.00 mm [2.756 in] centres. Everything needed to mount it is supplied: fan, plastic filter grille, replaceable filter, metal safety guard, wire leads, eight 10-32 x 1/2 in panhead self-tapping screws and four speed nuts.

Measured noise for this model is 34 dB, the quietest rating in the DNFF ordering table. Fan components are UL Recognized to UL 507 and cUL Recognized or CSA Certified to CSA-C22.2 No. 113, and the part is RoHS and REACH compliant.
