Hammond DNFCDC3P 24" Daisy Chain Fan Cord, 3 Connectors

The DNFCDC3P is a daisy chain fan cord used to wire tube axial fans inside racks, cabinets and enclosures. It carries three molded female standard fan plugs on a single 24.00 in (610 mm) lead, so one run of wire can feed a group of fans instead of running a separate cord to each one. It is intended for integrators, panel builders and facilities teams adding or replacing enclosure cooling fans.

The cord is built from SPT-1 x 18/2 type wire rated 300V and 105 degrees C. Each of the three fan connectors is a molded female standard fan plug measuring 0.91" x 0.68", oriented at 45 degrees so the connector clears the fan housing and adjacent hardware. The connectors are positioned 12" apart along the run, with 2 x 12" wire leads between them and a 24" wire lead section as shown on the part drawing.

DNFCDC3P is supplied without a 115VAC plug, making it suited to installations where the cord is terminated into a switch, fan controller or other wiring point rather than plugged into a receptacle. For applications that need a 115VAC plug on a three-connector daisy chain, other part numbers in the DNFC series list that option.
