The DK16S16 is the Type 316 stainless steel version of the DK Series drip shield kit, sized for wall-mount enclosures 16.00 in (406 mm) wide. It protects the enclosure door from dripping water and settling dust, and is the natural choice for stainless Type 4X enclosures used by OEM engineers and maintenance teams in washdown or corrosive areas where a painted shield is not wanted.
The kit installs easily on Type 12, 4 and 4X wall-mount enclosures using the stainless steel bolts and sealing washers included in the kit. It is designed not to interfere with door clamps and maintains the enclosure rating. The manufacturer description lists it as a drip shield kit for N4 and 4X enclosures.
According to the part drawing, the shield is 15.00 in long, 2.19 in deep and 0.71 in high, with a 1.45 in dimension shown on the side view, and it attaches through 5 mounting holes of 0.31 in diameter. Painted steel versions of the same width are DK16GY (gray) and DK16LG (light gray).
