Hammond CWST636 6x6x36" Hinged Lay-In Wireway Section with Knockouts

The CWST636 is a 3 ft (36 in) straight section of Type 1 lay-in hinge cover wireway, built with knockouts in gray painted steel. Its 6 x 6 in cross-section is a mid-range cross-section that gives more lay-in room than the 2.5 x 2.5 and 4 x 4 sizes. It is intended for electricians, panel builders and OEM machine builders who need an enclosed channel to route and protect wiring.

The section measures 6 in x 6 in x 36 in (152 mm x 152 mm x 914 mm), with 6 in inside dimensions and outer drawing dimensions of 6.36 in / 6.26 in / 6.11 in. A single hinged door, 35.94 in long on the drawing, runs the length of the section, so conductors can be laid in from the front rather than pulled through.

Knockouts are shown on the drawing as 1.13 in and 0.88 in diameter knockouts, laid out along the side at 5.50 / 12.00 / 12.00 / 5.50 in spacing. The drawing also shows 0.27 in and 0.31 in diameter holes, with 35.00 in spacing on the bottom view. Shipping weight is 15 lbs (6.80 kg). Note that CWST Series wireway lengths no longer include a joiner kit; order one separately as needed.
