The CWST1048NK is a four-foot straight section of 10 x 10 inch Type 1 lay-in hinge cover wireway from the CWST NK Series, made without knockouts. It is intended for longer cable runs in machine building and general plant wiring, where installers want a roomy steel channel they can open along its length to lay conductors in.
Construction is gray-finished steel with a single hinged door. Since the body carries no knockouts, conduit and fitting entries are cut where the layout calls for them rather than where a factory punch put them.
