Hammond CWSC472NK 4x4x72 In Gray Wireway Section, No Knockouts

The CWSC472NK is a six-foot, 72 in (1,829 mm) Type 1 lay-in screw cover wireway straight section with a 4 in x 4 in cross-section, in painted gray steel and without knockouts. It is intended for long indoor wiring runs where fewer, longer sections simplify installation.

With the lay-in design, conductors are set into the channel and then covered by the screw-fastened cover. No knockouts are provided, so the walls stay solid until the installer adds entries.

The listed size is 4 in x 4 in x 72 in (102 mm x 102 mm x 1,829 mm). The manufacturer drawing gives an inside section of 4.00 in x 4.00 in and an outside height and width of 4.11 in. Ø0.41 in and Ø0.27 in holes are shown, with Ø0.31 in holes on the bottom view spaced 71.00 in apart.

The CWSC472NK ships in a box at 23 lbs (10.43 kg). It is covered by UL File # E186830 and is RoHS and REACH compliant. Within the CWSC NK Series, the only longer 4 x 4 section is the 120 in CWSC4120NK.
