Hammond CWSC472 72-Inch Gray Steel 4x4 Wireway with Knockouts

The CWSC472 is a six-foot, 72 in (1,829 mm) straight section of Type 1 lay-in screw cover wireway with a 4 in x 4 in (102 mm x 102 mm) cross-section. In the painted, with-knockout range of the CWSC Series, the 72 in length is offered only in 4 x 4 and 6 x 6, making this the smallest cross-section at that length. It suits long indoor runs where fewer joints are preferred.

This is the painted Steel/Gray version and includes knockouts. Detail Z on the drawing gives knockout diameters of 0.83 in and 0.88 in, repeated along the section. Wiring is laid in from the open side, then the screw cover is fastened down, so conductors never have to be pulled through the full six-foot length.
