The CWSC460 is a five-foot, 60 in (1,524 mm) straight section of Type 1 lay-in screw cover wireway with a 4 in x 4 in (102 mm x 102 mm) cross-section. The longer length covers more distance per piece, which suits electrical contractors and plant engineers laying out extended indoor wiring runs along walls, ceilings or machinery.
It is the painted Steel/Gray version and it includes knockouts. Detail Z on the drawing lists knockout diameters of 0.83 in and 0.88 in, and knockouts appear at intervals along the section. Conductors are laid into the open channel and the screw cover is fastened on afterwards to enclose them.
