Hammond CWSC4120 4x4x120 In Gray Steel Wireway With Knockouts

The CWSC4120 is a 120 in (3,048 mm) straight section of Type 1 lay-in screw cover wireway with a 4 in x 4 in cross-section. It is built for electricians, panel shops and plant maintenance teams running control and power conductors along walls, machines and equipment lines indoors, where a continuous, covered channel keeps wiring organised and protected.

This section is made of painted steel in a gray finish and comes with knockouts already provided. The manufacturer drawing shows knockout diameters of 0.83 in and 0.88 in, so conduit and fittings can be brought into the run without cutting the wall of the section. The lay-in design with a screw-fastened cover lets installers place conductors into the open channel and then close it up.

Per the drawing, the inside dimensions are 4.00 in x 4.00 in with an outside height and width of 4.11 in. Over its 120 in length the cover is made up of sections of 59.97 in and 59.94 in. Mounting holes of Ø0.41 in and Ø0.27 in appear on the drawing. The section ships boxed at 32 lbs (14.51 kg).

The CWSC4120 is listed under UL File # E186830 and is RoHS and REACH compliant. In the CWSC Series ordering table, the 120 in painted section with knockouts is also offered in 2.5 x 2.5, 6 x 6 and 8 x 8 cross-sections, and an unpainted galvanized version of this 4 x 4 x 120 size is available as CWSC4120G.
