Hammond CWSC248G 48-Inch Galvanized 2.5x2.5 Wireway with Knockouts

The CWSC248G is an unpainted galvanized, 48 in (1,219 mm) straight section of the CWSC Series Type 1 lay-in screw cover wireway. With a 2.5 in x 2.5 in (64 mm x 64 mm) cross-section, it is aimed at installers who want a slim enclosed raceway for indoor wiring on machines, production lines or building walls.

Unlike the painted CWSC248, this version is left in a galvanized finish without paint. It includes knockouts; Detail Z on the manufacturer drawing gives knockout diameters of 0.83 in and 0.88 in, so fittings can be added at the pre-formed positions. The lay-in channel lets you drop conductors in place, then close the run with the screw cover.

Drawing dimensions show a 2.50 in inside measurement and a 2.61 in outside measurement, with an overall length of 48.00 in. Typical hole diameters of 0.27 in, 0.31 in and 0.41 in are also called out. The section ships in a box at 9 lbs (4.08 kg).

The CWSC248G is associated with UL File # E186830 and is marked REACH and RoHS compliant.
