Hammond CWCP2 2.5x2.5 Wireway Closing Plate with Dual KO, Gray

The CWCP2 is a closing plate, listed as a closure plate with knockout, from the CWCP Series. It caps the open end of a 2.5 x 2.5 wireway run and, because it comes complete with a dual knockout for 1/2" and 3/4" conduit, lets installers bring conduit into the end of the wireway.

The CWCP2 is painted steel in a gray finish (Steel/Gray). The series also lists an unpainted galvanized version, the CWCP2G.

The plate measures 2.4 in x 2.4 in x 1.13 in (61 mm x 61 mm x 29 mm), and the series table lists H and W as 2.40 in (61 mm). The manufacturer drawing shows the concentric knockout diameters as 0.88 in and 1.13 in. Note that the part description refers to 2.5 x 2.5 wireway, while the series ordering table lists it for use with 2.5 x 5.5.

The CWCP2 references UL File # E186830 and is listed as RoHS compliant and REACH compliant. It ships in a bag with a shipping weight of 0.75 lbs (0.34 kg), under UPC 623980262390 and UNSPSC 39131710.

Use the CWCP2 to close off the end of painted 2.5 x 2.5 wireway on machines or in plant wiring, with the option of terminating 1/2" or 3/4" conduit at that point.
