CST6104 pairs a 125/120 A (CU/AL) 4-wire splitter block with a 72 x 8 x 5 in Type 1 steel trough, listed in the ordering table with splitter block reference CSBL125T. The splitter block is factory installed and carries a 125 A copper / 120 A aluminum rating (CU/AL) per the ordering table, with block reference CSBL125T. The series is designed for distribution of up to 600 A (max) service at 600 V max using 3 or 4 wires, with 75 °C conductor ampacity permitted. The 3-wire version of this size is CST6103, and an empty version is CST6100.
The trough is formed and spot welded from 14 gauge mild steel and measures 72 in high, 8 in wide and 5 in deep (1,829 mm x 203 mm x 127 mm). The drawing shows a front opening of 70.75 x 7.61 in. A series of knockouts is provided on each side, with 0.88, 1.13, 1.38 and 1.75 in diameters shown on the part drawing, and the hinged door is secured with a screw and fitted with a padlocking hasp. Cover and enclosure are finished in recoatable smooth ANSI 61 gray powder coating.
The CST Series is CSA Certified and complies with IEC 60529, IP20 for Type 1 indoor use. CST6104 ships boxed at 40 lbs (18.14 kg), and the part is listed as RoHS and REACH compliant.
