Hammond CST374 70A 4-Wire Splitter Trough, 36x6x4

The CST374 is a 4-wire Type 1 mild steel splitter trough from the CST Series, rated 70/70 A (CU/AL) and measuring 36 x 6 x 4 in (914 mm x 152 mm x 102 mm). It comes with factory installed splitter blocks (reference CSBL125T), giving electricians and contractors an enclosure ready for 4-wire distribution.

It pairs 4-wire blocks with the 36 in body, the mid-length option among the 70 A troughs. The CST Series is designed for distribution of up to 600 A (max) service at 600 V max, using either 3 or 4 wires, and 75° C conductor ampacity is permitted. The trough is formed and spot welded from 16 gauge steel, with a hinged door secured with a screw, a padlocking hasp and a series of knockouts on each side. Cover and enclosure are finished in recoatable smooth ANSI 61 gray powder coating.

The part drawing shows an overall width of 6.25 in and overall depth of 4.98 in, a door opening of 34.75 in x 5.69 in, 0.25 in diameter back mounting holes on 33.00 in x 3.00 in centers and knockout diameters of 0.88, 1.13, 1.38, 1.75 in. The series is CSA Certified and complies with IEC 60529, IP20. The CST374 is REACH and RoHS compliant, ships in a box and weighs 18 lbs (8.16 kg).
