Hammond CST3200 36x8x5 In Empty Splitter Trough, Less Blocks

The CST3200 is an empty Type 1 mild steel splitter trough from the CST Series, measuring 36 x 8 x 5 in (914 mm x 203 mm x 127 mm) and supplied less blocks. In the series ordering table it sits in the 225/225 A (CU/AL) row, with CSBL225 as the splitter block reference. It suits electricians and contractors who want the enclosure and hinged door now and will specify the splitter blocks themselves.

It is the empty 36 x 8 x 5 in body in 14 gauge steel, supplied without splitter blocks. The CST Series is designed for distribution of up to 600 A (max) service at 600 V max, using either 3 or 4 wires, and 75° C conductor ampacity is permitted. No splitter blocks are fitted to the CST3200; the matching factory-block versions in the ordering table are CST3203 and CST3204.

The trough is formed and spot welded from 14 gauge steel, with a hinged door secured with a screw, a padlocking hasp and a series of knockouts on each side. Cover and enclosure are finished in recoatable smooth ANSI 61 gray powder coating.

The part drawing shows an overall width of 8.25 in and overall depth of 5.98 in, 0.25 in diameter back mounting holes on 33.00 in x 5.00 in centers and knockout diameters of 0.88, 1.13, 1.38, 2.50, 3.00 in. The series is CSA Certified and complies with IEC 60529, IP20. The CST3200 is REACH and RoHS compliant, ships in a box and weighs 20 lbs (9.07 kg).
