Hammond CST2203 225A 3-Wire Splitter Trough, 24x8x5

The CST2203 is a 3-wire Type 1 mild steel splitter trough from the CST Series, rated 225/225 A (CU/AL) and measuring 24 x 8 x 5 in (610 mm x 203 mm x 127 mm). It comes with factory installed splitter blocks (reference CSBL225), giving electricians and contractors an enclosure ready for 3-wire distribution.

It is the 3-wire 225 A model at 24 in long; the ordering table lists no 4-wire version at this size. The CST Series is designed for distribution of up to 600 A (max) service at 600 V max, using either 3 or 4 wires, and 75° C conductor ampacity is permitted. The trough is formed and spot welded from 14 gauge steel, with a hinged door secured with a screw, a padlocking hasp and a series of knockouts on each side. Cover and enclosure are finished in recoatable smooth ANSI 61 gray powder coating.

The part drawing shows an overall width of 8.25 in and overall depth of 5.98 in, a door opening of 22.75 in x 7.61 in, 0.25 in diameter back mounting holes on 21.00 in x 5.00 in centers and knockout diameters of 0.88, 1.13, 2.50, 3.00 in. The series is CSA Certified and complies with IEC 60529, IP20. The CST2203 is REACH and RoHS compliant, ships in a box and weighs 17 lbs (7.71 kg).
