The CSPQTRL Side Panel Locking Kit is a security upgrade for Hammond C2 and C4 enclosure side panels. Standard quarter-turn fasteners are convenient for service access but offer no key control; this kit replaces them with a key-locking version so panels can only be removed by someone holding the key. It suits electricians, OEM engineers and facilities teams who need to restrict access to wiring and components inside an installed enclosure.
The locks are zinc die-cast with a chrome finish. Each CSPQTRL kit contains four quarter-turn locks and eight keys, which is the quantity required to lock all four corners of one (1) side panel. If both side panels of an enclosure are to be locked, order accordingly.
Installation is done in the field. The key-locking hardware is directly interchangeable with the standard quarter-turn latches already fitted to the side panels, so no modification of the panel is described as being required. Per the series data, the kit maintains NEMA, UL and CSA ratings as noted; the CSPQTRL itself carries no NEMA rating and is for indoor use only.
