Hammond CSP8523BK1 49U Solid Side Panel Pair, 23.6" Deep Cabinet

CSP8523BK1 is a pair of solid steel side panels for the Hammond C2 Series modular rack cabinet system, sized for 49U frames that measure 85.75 in (2178 mm) high by 23.63 in (600 mm) deep. It is intended for AV integrators, telecom and lab technicians, and OEM or facilities teams who are building out an open C2 frame into a closed cabinet for security, tidier appearance, and controlled airflow paths.

The panels are finished in painted black textured powder coat; the same panel is offered in RAL 7035 light gray as CSP8523LG1. The C2 platform uses a 14-gauge steel cabinet frame with 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets and 16-gauge doors and panels, and the series' textured powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. Grounding studs are provided on the frame, doors and panels for bonding; this panel carries a #10-32 x 1/2 in ground stud.

Each panel measures 85.69 in (2176 mm) in overall height per the drawing and mounts to the C2 frame using four slotted quarter-turn latches, which are included along with a black plastic handle for tool-free removal when you need access to cabling or equipment at the sides of the cabinet. Because the panels are removable, CSP8523BK1 suits installations where equipment requirements change over time.
