Hammond CSP5636BK1 32U Solid Side Panel Pair, 36-Inch Cabinet Depth

CSP5636BK1 is a pair of solid steel side panels for the Hammond C2 Series modular rack cabinet system, sized for a 32U frame that is 56.00 in (1422 mm) high and 36.00 in (914 mm) deep — specifically the C2F195636 open frame. It is intended for AV integrators, telecom and lab technicians, and OEM or facilities teams who start from an open C2 frame and enclose it to suit the installation.

Each panel is finished in textured black paint (RAL 9005 black family within the series; the light gray equivalent is CSP5636LG1). The C2 Series uses 16-gauge doors and panels within a 14-gauge steel cabinet frame with 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets, and the series' textured powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. A grounding stud (#10-32 x 1/2 in) is provided on the panel to support bonding, consistent with the grounding studs used on C2 frames, doors and panels.

The drawing for CSP5636BK1 gives an overall panel height of 55.94 in (1421 mm) and an overall width of 32.44 in (824 mm). Each panel ships with a black plastic handle and four slotted quarter-turn latches, so panels can be fitted and removed for equipment access without loose hardware. Shipping weight for the pair is 78 lbs (35.38 kg).

Because the C2 platform is modular, side panels are ordered separately from the frame so airflow, security and access can be configured per cabinet. Solid panels close in both sides of the cabinet, and can be combined with the series' interchangeable top and bottom panels and optional solid, vented or window doors.
