Hammond CSKOG10106 10x10x6 in Type 1 Galvanized Screw Cover Junction Box

The CSKOG10106 is a 10 x 10 x 6 in (254 x 254 x 152 mm) Type 1 screw cover junction box from the CSKOG Series, built in unpainted galvanized steel. It is designed for general purpose indoor commercial use as a junction, pull or switch box, making it a practical choice for electricians, contractors and facilities teams who need a bare galvanized enclosure with easily removed knockouts.

The body is formed and spot welded from 16 gauge G90 steel. A flat steel cover is fastened with plated steel screws, and keyhole slots in the cover let it be lifted off without removing the screws entirely. Both the enclosure and cover are left as unpainted galvanized steel. A grounding location is embossed in the body.

Enclosure size is 10.00 in high x 10.00 in wide x 6.00 in deep (254 x 254 x 152 mm); the drawing shows an overall depth of 6.06 in. Easily removed knockouts are provided on all 4 sides, with knockout diameters on the CSKOG10106 drawing of 0.76 in, 1.01 in, 1.13 in, 1.38 in. The square 10 x 10 in face gives equal usable span in both directions. Shipping weight is 8 lbs (3.63 kg), and the unit ships in a bag.

Through holes in the back allow wall mounting; the drawing shows 0.28 in diameter back holes on 9.00 in x 7.00 in centres (width x height). The box is listed to UL-50 Type 1 (UL File E65324) and CSA Type 1 (CSA Cert. LR21001), complies with NEMA Type 1 and IEC 60529 IP20, and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
