Hammond CSKO18184 18x18x4 in Type 1 Gray Steel Screw Cover Junction Box

The CSKO18184 is a 18 x 18 x 4 in (457 x 457 x 102 mm) Type 1 screw cover junction box from the CSKO Series, finished in ANSI 61 gray. It is designed for general purpose indoor commercial use as a junction, pull or switch box, making it a practical choice for electricians, contractors and facilities teams who need a painted steel enclosure with easily removed knockouts.

The body is formed and spot welded from 16 gauge steel (16 gauge applies to CSKO sizes up to 30 in x 24 in). A flat steel cover is fastened with plated steel screws, and keyhole slots in the cover let it be lifted off without removing the screws entirely. Enclosure and cover are finished in ANSI 61 gray powder coating. A grounding location is embossed in the body.

Enclosure size is 18.00 in high x 18.00 in wide x 4.00 in deep (457 x 457 x 102 mm); the drawing shows an overall depth of 4.06 in. Easily removed knockouts are provided on all 4 sides, with knockout diameters on the CSKO18184 drawing of 0.76 in, 1.01 in, 1.13 in, 1.26 in, 1.38 in, 1.75 in. The square 18 x 18 in face gives equal usable span in both directions. Shipping weight is 16 lbs (7.26 kg), and the unit ships in a box.

Through holes in the back allow wall mounting; the drawing shows 0.28 in diameter back holes on 17.00 in x 15.00 in centres (width x height).
