The CSG88EXT4 is an 8 x 8 extender ring in unpainted galvanized steel that adds 4 in of depth to Type 1 screw cover junction boxes. It is intended for contractors extending CS, CSG, CSKO or CSKOG Series boxes, particularly where a galvanized finish is wanted.
The ring is 8 in x 8 in x 4 in (203 mm x 203 mm x 102 mm), and the drawing shows an 8.06 in x 8.06 in overall outside size. Its painted ANSI 61 gray counterpart is the CS88EXT4.
To install, remove the box cover, fix the extender ring using the cover screws, and attach the cover to the ring with the hardware provided. Keyhole shaped mounting holes support quick assembly.
