The CSG66EXT4 is the unpainted galvanized version of the 6 x 6 x 4 junction box extender ring. It adds 4 in of depth to Type 1 screw cover junction boxes in the CS, CSG, CSKO and CSKOG Series, for electricians who need more room in an existing box and prefer a galvanized finish.
The ring measures 6 in x 6 in x 4 in (152 mm x 152 mm x 102 mm), with an overall outside size of 6.06 in x 6.06 in shown on the drawing. It is unpainted galvanized steel; the painted ANSI 61 gray equivalent is the CS66EXT4.
Installation follows the series method: remove the box cover, fix the extender ring using the cover screws, and attach the cover to the ring with the hardware provided. Keyhole shaped mounting holes allow quick assembly.
