The CSG1010EXT4 is a 10 x 10 junction box extender ring in unpainted galvanized steel. It adds 4 in of depth to Type 1 screw cover junction boxes in the CS, CSG, CSKO and CSKOG Series, giving electricians more working space in a box that is already installed.
The ring measures 10 in x 10 in x 4 in (254 mm x 254 mm x 102 mm), with a 10.06 in x 10.06 in overall outside size on the drawing. The painted ANSI 61 gray version of the same size is the CS1010EXT4.
Installation is straightforward: remove the box cover, fix the extender ring using the cover screws, and attach the cover to the extender ring with the hardware provided. Keyhole shaped mounting holes make assembly quick.
