The CSB200 is an empty Type 1 splitter box from the CSB Series, supplied without splitter blocks so electricians and panel builders can fit their own distribution hardware. It measures 18 in x 12 in x 5 in (457 mm x 305 mm x 127 mm) and is intended for indoor power distribution work.
In the series ordering table this 18 x 12 x 5 enclosure is the size rated 225/180 A (copper/aluminum), and its splitter block reference is the CSBL225. The same box is also listed with factory-installed blocks as the CSB203 (3 wire) and CSB204 (4 wire). CSB Series splitter boxes are designed for indoor distribution of up to 600 A (max) service at 600 V max using 3 or 4 wires, with 75 °C conductor ampacity permitted.
Construction is formed and spot-welded steel, with the enclosure and cover finished in ANSI 61 gray powder coating. A hinged door secured with a screw gives access to the interior, and a padlocking hasp is provided. The drawing shows a 12.25 in x 18.25 in door over an 11.75 in x 17.89 in door opening, Ø0.25 in rear mounting holes on 9.00 in x 15.00 in centres, and a series of knockouts on each side, including concentric knockouts of Ø0.88/Ø1.13 in, Ø1.13/Ø1.38 in and Ø2.50/Ø3.00 in.
The CSB200 is CSA Type 1 and complies with IEC 60529, IP20. It is REACH and RoHS compliant, ships boxed at 14 lbs (6.35 kg), and carries UPC 623980779461.
