Hammond CN4ST6104SS 72x8x6 in 125A 4-Wire Stainless Splitter Trough

The CN4ST6104SS is the four-wire version of the 72 in, 125/120 A stainless splitter trough, adding a conductor position over its three-wire companion for systems that carry a neutral. It is intended for electricians, contractors and facilities teams distributing service of up to 600 A (600 V max) in outdoor or more hostile locations.

The trough is formed and spot welded from 14 gauge 304 stainless steel (the series uses 14 gauge when width is 8 in or more), with smooth, continuously welded seams ground smooth and a formed lip that excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. A seamless poured-in-place gasket seals the hinged door, whose quarter-turn slotted latches require a tool to open. Hinges are 304 stainless steel with stainless hinge pins, and the removable doors are interchangeable. The cover and body have a natural brushed stainless finish.

The CN4ST6104SS measures 72 in x 8 in x 6 in (1,829 mm x 203 mm x 152 mm) and has a shipping weight of 50 lbs (22.68 kg). Per the part drawing, the door opening is 70.36 x 6.49 in, the included white powder-coated inner panel measures 70.17 x 6.17 in and mounts on collar studs, and overall depth with the door is 6.84 in. Splitter blocks come factory installed; the matching block reference is CSBL125T and the optional grounding kit is CGK225. Its three-wire counterpart in the same size and rating is the CN4ST6103SS.

The series is CSA Certified Type 3R, 12 and 4X and complies with IEC 60529, IP66, with 75 °C conductor ampacity permitted. A hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for the wall mounting holes is included.
