Hammond CN4ST3104 125/120A 4-Wire 36 in Type 4/3R Splitter Trough

The CN4ST3104 is a Type 4/3R mild steel splitter trough from the CN4ST Series, built for four-wire (4 wire) service and rated 125 A with copper conductors and 120 A with aluminum conductors. It is intended for electricians, panel builders and facilities teams who need to split a feeder into multiple taps inside a gasketed, hinged enclosure. The series is designed for distribution of up to 600 A (max) service at 600V max using either 3 or 4 wires, and 75° C conductor ampacity is permitted. The enclosure measures 36.00 in (914 mm) high, 6.00 in (152 mm) wide and 5.00 in (127 mm) deep per the series ordering table, and is formed and spot welded from 16 gauge steel (the series uses 16 gauge, moving to 14 gauge when width is 8" or more). Seams are continuously welded and ground smooth, a formed lip helps exclude flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in-place gasket seals the door. Splitter blocks are factory installed; this size references splitter block CSBL125T.

The hinged door uses quarter turn slot latches that require a tool to open, and doors can be removed for modifications and are interchangeable. Hinges are 304 stainless steel with stainless steel hinge pins. An inner panel finished in white powder coating is included and mounts on collar studs, while the cover and enclosure carry a recoatable smooth ANSI 61 gray powder coat. A hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for the wall mounting holes is included.

The CN4ST Series is CSA Certified Type 3R, 12, 4 and complies with IEC 60529, IP66. The CN4ST3104 is listed as REACH and RoHS compliant, ships in a box at 26 lbs (11.79 kg), and carries UPC 623980022123. For equipment grounding, the optional grounding kit for this size is CGK225.
