Hammond CN4SB104SS 125A 4-Wire Type 4X Stainless Splitter Box, 15x10x5

The CN4SB104SS is a 4-wire stainless steel splitter box rated 125/120 A CU/AL, from the CN4SBSS series of Type 4X stainless steel splitter boxes. It is intended for contractors splitting a 125 A, 4-wire service in corrosive, washdown or outdoor settings. The series is designed for distribution of up to 600 A (max) service at 600 V max, and 75° C conductor ampacity is permitted.

The enclosure measures 15 in high, 10 in wide and 5 in deep (381 x 254 x 127 mm), with 5.85 in overall depth on the drawing. Drawing dimensions include a 14.97 x 9.97 in door, a door opening of 13.52 x 8.39 in, a 13.17 x 8.17 in inner panel, and Ø0.50 in wall mounting holes on 13.50 x 8.50 in centres.

Construction is formed 16 gauge Type 304 stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams ground smooth; the cover and enclosure are natural stainless with a smooth brushed finish. A formed lip and seamless poured-in place gasket keep out flowing liquids and contaminants. The door closes with quarter turn slot latches requiring a tool, hangs on 304 stainless steel hinges with stainless steel pins, and can be removed for modifications. Splitter blocks are factory installed (reference CSBL125B), and the included white powder coated inner panel mounts on collar studs.

The CN4SB104SS is CSA Type 3R, 12, 4X and complies with IEC 60529, IP66. It includes a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers, accepts optional grounding kit CGK125, ships at 15 lbs (6.80 kg), and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
