Hammond CLRAP 20.25in Wide Rack to Ladder Adapter Plate

The CLRAP is a top-of-rack adaptor plate that mounts cable runway (ladder rack) directly to open frame racks and cabinets, creating a clean, aligned transition between rack-mounted equipment and overhead cable pathways. It is intended for IT and telecom integrators, structured cabling contractors and data center facilities teams building overhead cable routing systems.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel with a black powder coat finish that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, giving a durable structural connection between the rack frame and the runway above it. An integrated 2 in elevation is built into the plate, so a separate height adapter kit is not required.

This part measures 20.25 in (514 mm) wide, 1.50 in (38 mm) deep and 2.00 in (51 mm) high, and supports 6 in, 12 in and 18 in ladder rack widths (24 in ladder is not supported \u2014 see CLRAP24 in the same series for wider runway). Slots are 0.34 x 1.00 in [8.74 mm x 24.5 mm], and the drawing shows an 8.00 in (203 mm) bottom-view mounting pattern. Shipping weight is 2.7 lbs (1.22 kg).

Each CLRAP ships as a kit: one top-of-rack adapter plate plus a J-bolt kit (pair, replacement part number CLJBK), with mounting hardware included. The plate is compatible with standard ladder rack systems and EIA-compliant racks, making it a compact alternative to larger multi-component transition assemblies where space is limited.

CLRAP is TAA compliant and manufactured in North America (country of origin CA), USMCA, RoHS and REACH compliant, supporting government and enterprise procurement requirements.
